By Unk and James Dillon. Currently unavailable. PS3 Uncharted 3 GOTY. $7.99 (13 used offers). The PC isn't really a 'Microsoft platform'. It's an open platform. Nintendo has allowed Pokemon games on the PC and Sony Online Entertainment releases most of their games on the PC. Most of Sony embraces Windows. Sony Computer Entertainment does not. Uncharted 4 is coming out, as we all know. I'm wondering, now with the latest playstation 4 update, you can remote play games to your PC or Mac.

Uncharted 3 on pc

The subscription includes a bunch of games, including quite a few PlayStation 3 exclusives like The Last of Us and Uncharted, as well as fun classics like Ratchet & Clank and Sly Cooper. God of War and Infamous are also on the app. Overall, there are over 400 games from the PS3 library. A subscription costs $19.99 a month or, for a limited time, $99.99 for 12 months. That's not cheap, but it could make sense for PC gamers who have missed a bunch of PlayStation content in the past.

I gave the service a spin today, and found that it's off to a bad start. Some games wouldn't load due to not being available yet. Others would load but then the buttons on my PS4 controller wouldn't work in the game itself. Here's me trying to play PS3 games on my PC:

In any case, this could be day one woes. I'm going to give the service another spin later this afternoon or tomorrow and will report back one way or another.

I think it's pretty great that all these fantastic titles are available on PC finally -- let's just hope it starts working.

(Note: I received a PS Now voucher for review purposes. My internet download speed, via ethernet cable, is about 200 Mbps as of right now, even with a game downloading in the background. Any issues I was having are obviously not due to connection speed.)

Here are Sony's recommended PC specs for PS Now:

  • Windows 7 (SP1), 8.1 or 10
  • 3.5 GHz Intel Core i3 or 3.8 GHz AMD A10 or faster
  • 300 MB or more; 2 GB or more of RAM
  • Sound card; USB port
  • A minimum 5Mbps connection is required to use PS Now on any device. A wired Internet connection is recommended for the optimal experience.

If you're interested in the service, you can sign up for a seven day trial here.

Finally PC gamers can play some of Sony's PlayStation exclusives on their PC. These aren't PC ports, but rather part of Sony's PlayStation Now service, which is offered via a monthly subscription.

Wall of text, this and other replies as well, sorry for that, but all this talk about how the game is good or bad or unsatisfying has riled me up.

So, he looks like Nathan Drake from the back. Just like a thousand other people, seeing as it's an average haircut. Stop clinging to stuff like this. Not to mention you can probably customize the appearances, seeing all the other models in the multiplayer, so what if he chose this look, it doesn't mean squat. It's what the guy playing likes. It should not influence an opinion of the game, be it singleplayer or multiplayer, in any way.

Maybe they have female multiplayer characters but they just haven't shown them? Maybe they are not showing them because, until you play Lara's story, it might seem as losing focus on the specific lead character? Who knows what might be happening here. And sure, the gameplay looks like Uncharted. Uncharted got its gameplay from somewhere else as well, and the game before from somewhere else, etc., etc. But maybe it won't feel at all like Uncharted. Until you play it and feel its mechanics yourself, it is, in my opinion, irrelevant to talk about the quality of the game/gameplay/story.

Edit: Having taken a longer look at the multiplayer video, it is clearly a character modeled after the liking of the player. It has specific features such as a certain tattoo, or the glasses. It might even actually look like the player himself. In any case, this is a game about Tomb Raider, and the multiplayer separates itself from that and it shouldn't change the way you look at it as a game at all. Who knows, maybe you'll even have some cool unlockable extra skin that looks EXACTLY like Drake, just for the lulz. An Easter Egg, if you will.

Edit: Watched more, and you can hear the guys talking describing the actual character on screen as they tried to make him look like a action nerd hero or something.
